White and Blacklist Emails
The Email Whitelister plugin has been updated to v1.01 to fix several bugs faced by people.
Also due to popular demand, I've released the Email Blacklister plugin which functions exactly like the Whitelister except it junks comments if the email address entered matches one on the blacklist. Currently the plugin is fairly basic and doesn't allow you to enter any wildcard or regex values. A future version will hopefully contain such functionality.
Happy antispamming!

So does the WhiteLister/Blacklister run before other plug-ins (before SpamLookUp and MT-Blacklist)? or does it do something after? (I've always wondered what decides the order that plug-ins run)

The Whitelister saved my sanity. I was going insane with rejected comments (Spam lookup was properly configured, but still acted up) and now at least my usual visitors can comment.
Oh, and I hope this isn't considered spam (yuck) but I just opened a fanlisting for your very helpful site, just so you'd know. It's the URL I wrote up there. ;)

The Whitelister plug-in does not work. It assumes some code somewhere that isn't available. And this is on a vanilla installation installed by the folks who make Movable Type.
Further, that author cannot be contacted by email to give bug reports.
