Tagging Links

One of the major new features in the next version of MT Blogroll is the tagging capability, links in MT Blogroll can now be tagged and through a powerful set of template tags, these tags can be published onto your weblog. The following screenshot shows the Tag Cloud layout within MT Blogroll and you can duplicate it for your templates using the template tags.

This tag cloud is generated depending on the number of times a tag is used. Clicking on a tag will filter links by the tag - i.e. take you back to the link listing and show you only those links that have been tagged with this tag.

I just wanted to say that I think it's very cool that a tag cloud is being used in the administration side of things, and not just the user end!

Where can I find mort information on the tagging features in MT 3.3? I've looked around on the Six Apart site and searched Google but I can't find much.

Hi Aaron

To my knowledge, Six Apart hasn't announced any tagging abilities in MT 3.3, where've you heard of this from?

I saw it referenced here on the CloudNine plugin blog:
