Presenting Template Shelf

I created Template Shelf because I needed quick and easy access to all the template in my weblog. I had just started to redesign Movalog and the new modular templates in MT4 caused a lot of back and forth between the listing and editing screens, what I needed was to be able to access all my templates from the editing screen directly.

Enter Template Shelf which provides a sidebar widget on the template editing screen with a list of all the templates in my weblog, a drop down menu to filter and a handy create link.

My favourite part of Template Shelf is it's dialog editing feature. Click an icon and your template will open in a dialog box. This is a great way to make a quick change to a template or edit small templates without having to leave the template you're currently editing behind.

Template Shelf is free for personal users, grab it now!

Here's a quick screencast of the plugin:

Hi Arvind - this comment is off-topic but as I don't see any other way to contact you...

I saw that your Feedburner feed was republished last night, and that you have the same problem I do: in MT4, entries you've formatted in Markdown/Smartypants are not parsed into HTML/XML when feeds are published. I've previously reported this to MT as a bug (#54177) during the beta process, but obviously it has not been fixed (and I'm surprised nobody else is jumping up and down about this - it's making my entries unreadable and has forced me to use the now-nicer Rich Text editor). Had you already noticed this bug? If so, do you have any idea when it could be fixed?

Also, I was not able to view or comment on your older entries at this time - perhaps an MT4 upgrade snafu?

Eesh, I'm sorry you guys, it seems your comments were junked! Comment Challenge seems to be a little overaggresive. I am glad that you're both enjoying the plugin :)

Hi Kelly (I'm sorry your comment was junked by mistake). The reason that the RSS feeds are having their Markdown stripped is because the default templates have convert_breaks="0" for MTEntryBody and MTEntryMore. If you just remove them and republish your feeds, you'll be fine!
